Bodega Bay:
Crabbing & Fishing Aboard a Fishing Boat

Saturday, November 6, 1999
Rating: Easy
Cost: $105
This is the first day of crab season and we've reserved those coveted opening-day spaces on a party fishing boat. We'll leave Bodega Bay early in the morning on The Tracer and spend the day crabbing and rock fishing.

No experience necessary; expert fishermen on board will set up your fishing rod and show you how to fish these waters. Since it's opening day and the commercial season hasn't yet opened, you'll most likely get your limit of 6 big dungeness crab as well as 15 rock fish. You'll need a one-day California fishing license ($9.70).
