Join us for five days in a complete journey of transformation through hiking, yoga, meditation, connection, and relaxing in Yosemite’s High Sierra. Our hikes take us to Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp, past gorgeous waterfalls on the Tuolumne River, to beautiful Cathedral Lakes, and to Elizabeth Lake and Unicorn Peak.

We'll carry only light daypacks with our yoga mats, and there are opportunities for early turn around on hikes where people don’t wish to go the full distance. Hikes are rated easy to moderate. You can go at your own pace–fast or leisurely–and there are some challenging options for people who want to go farther.

Your yoga experience will take place in some of the most majestic areas of Yosemite.  Creating the perfect backdrop to fully emerge into your experience. A variety of art, meditation, and journaling will be introduced through out this sacred journey giving you an opportunity to connect to the spirit of Yosemite and yourself.

Our food is delicious and meals feature recipes from Carole Latimer’s cookbook, Wilderness Cuisine.  This is an ideal base for day hikes throughout the Tuolumne Meadows area in Yosemite National Park.

What clients have to say:

"My first trip with the Call of the Wild which was a hiking adventure for a week in the Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite made me realize that women from all backgrounds and ages loved the out of doors and adventure.  It was fun too because we were not competitive with men - it was just a group of women having a lot of fun in nature and getting "out of our comfort zone." - R.A.

“From the first moment with Lisa Hecke you feel safe and supported.   As you go further into a Yoga Class, Guided meditation or Retreat with her the space becomes magical, filled with acceptance, humility and pure Truth.   The gift of Lisa means you are about to be transported in YOUR reality, not the external world’s idea of who you are, but the TRUE SPIRIT of who you are.  Whether she helps you heal your inner child, releases subtle energy blockages, guides you through meditation, or just holds the space for you ….that moment transforms your path forever.   She creates an experience that clears and frees oneself to move forward with confidence, clarity and TRUTH.” - H.J., Gilbert, AZ

“Embracing adventure, welcoming change, and making space for personal growth are just the beginning of what one can expect to experience with Lisa Hecke. Lisa's uncanny intuition allows her to be available to and meet the needs of everyone who attends her retreats and classes. My experience with Lisa has allowed me space to be both safely vulnerable and amazingly brave.  I found myself open to creating a space that invited emotional and physical changes that have led me toward a continuous path of growth. Practicing both meditation and yoga with Lisa is such a blissful experience.  No pressure or stress just ease, calm, and breathe. Simply put, Lisa is amazing and I can't wait to travel on more retreats and adventures with her!” - A.R., Gilbert, AZ
