Join us for five days in a complete journey of transformation through hiking, yoga, meditation, connection, and relaxing in Yosemite’s High Sierra. Our hikes take us to Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp, past gorgeous waterfalls on the Tuolumne River, to beautiful Cathedral Lakes, and to Elizabeth Lake and Unicorn Peak.
We'll carry only light daypacks with our yoga mats, and there are opportunities for early turn around on hikes where people don’t wish to go the full distance. Hikes are rated easy to moderate. You can go at your own pace–fast or leisurely–and there are some challenging options for people who want to go farther.
Your yoga experience will take place in some of the most majestic areas of Yosemite. Creating the perfect backdrop to fully emerge into your experience. A variety of art, meditation, and journaling will be introduced through out this sacred journey giving you an opportunity to connect to the spirit of Yosemite and yourself.
Our food is delicious and meals feature recipes from Carole Latimer’s cookbook, Wilderness Cuisine. This is an ideal base for day hikes throughout the Tuolumne Meadows area in Yosemite National Park.
About Lisa Hecke
Lisa is a certified Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga for more then 8 years. She was trained in Ashtanga, All level flow (Hatha) and Gentle Restorative. Her passion is bringing yoga to the outdoors as she believes the connection to earth and your surroundings become much deeper. She specializes in empowering others on their individual journey through a variety of healing techniques such as yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, guided imagery, and hypnotherapy.
